There I was, standing confidently in front of the WaleAgro team, ready to deliver a powerful motivational speech about teamwork, growth, and purpose. The sky looked calm — or so I thought. I raised my voice, “Let’s grow together…” and suddenly, thunder rumbled like a talking drum!
Before I could say another word, lightning flashed and the rain came down with full force. Everyone scattered — boots splashing, caps flying, and someone yelling, “Oga, abeg enter car!” 😂
I couldn’t help but laugh. As we ran for cover, I looked back at the farmland — the rain was falling beautifully on the crops.
They weren’t running. They were soaking in every drop, grateful for the nourishment. That’s when it hit me: Nature doesn’t need speeches — it needs faith, patience, and proper management.
Sometimes life interrupts your plans not to stop you, but to feed what you’ve planted. The same rain that cut my speech short was the one preparing a bigger harvest.
